Use your mobile phone to rate your station
Commuters can now rate their local train station and suggest improvements on their mobile phones.
Organised by local councils, the pt4me2 Better Stations survey will be used to advocate to the State Government for improvements to train stations.
Metropolitan Transport Forum Chair Cr Jackie Fristacky said the survey had been customised for mobile phones because so many commuters had smart phones.
‘You can do our survey waiting on the station or riding on the train,’ she said.
Cr Fristacky said the promise of PSOs on stations at night has highlighted the need to improve stations in many ways.
‘Already the survey is showing strong support for more shelter, better cleaning and toilets on stations,’ she said.
‘Stations are the beginning and end of every train trip. We’re looking for cost effective ways for the state government and local councils to make them better,’ she said.
