Welcome to pt4me2

pt4me2  is about giving you more ways to have a say on public transport issues. It’s an experiment in new ways of communication – blogging, Myspace,  You Tube and sms – we hope you’ll use it to help improve our public transport system.

Who’s behind pt4me2?
pt4me2.org.au is a project of the Metropolitan Transport Forum which represents 18 local councils across Melbourne and a variety of other groups on public transport issues.

What can pt4me2 achieve?
We hope to show decision makers that there’s plenty of public support for better public transport. We also want to create many new ways for the public to contribute to public transport decisions.

How can I participate in pt4me2?
Start by adding your comments on the blogsite – let us know what you think. If you have a MySpace page, add pt4me2 to your friends list. If you have a mobile phone or video camera, upload your images to YouTube. Join our email list to get news of the latest developments.

How will pt4me2 use my information?
We’ll be reporting regularly to state government and local councils about your feedback. We’ll also be directing the media to pt4me2 as a source of immediate feedback about public transport news like policy announcements, timetable changes and the new myki system when its introduced.

What else will pt4me2 be doing?
Later this year, we’ll be inviting your comments on the much heralded new timetable. It will be your chance to give direct and immediate feedback.
